  1. Again, I'd like to thank all the members of 308AR.com for their support. Feel free to email us at and I'll do my best to get anyone a set that wants one, even if I have have to send a non-blemished set. I'd rather not see anyone get left out if at all possible. CentralFloridaFirearms.com RiedemanFirearms@aol.com Thanks, Chris
  2. In regards to the bolt stop catch, please don't attempt to use a 10A. You won't like the results. You need a 10B. I have built more of these things than I care to count. A 10A bsc won't hold the bcg back well at all. With a 10A BSC installed, the slightest jarring of the rifle will cause the bsc to release the bcg. A 10a bsc barely gets a bite on the bolt face, while the modified 10B will hold the bcg back very well. The difference in performance is huge, and the cost difference is none. Just thought you should know. Chris
  3. The LPK for these sets is expensive. Nothing I can do about it. But it's the right one and you won't have to send any parts back and forth or wonder if you got the right stuff for your gun. They're $100.00. The UPK is $30.00. Pretty straight forward UPK, any .308 UPK will work. We also have 16" DPMS .308 AP4 barrels for sale. We have 10 of them, and they are $129.00 each. The BCGs that go with them are $175.00, and they're the nicest I've used. And I've used many many different ones. AR10 .308 charging handles are $24.00 15" .308 Key mod rails (also made from Matrix) will be available to you guys for $125.00 each. I'm trying to hook the 25 guys up that buy these sets the best that we can. Please know that I appreciate your support, and this is just our way of saying thanks. Chris
  4. Correction on those hand guards, they are 11.5", not 13.5". My apologies
  5. I have answered all the emails that were sent to me. Please note that our email address is either OF THE FOLLOWING: ContactUs@CentralFloridaFirearms.com OR RiedemanFirearms@aol.com And as stated in another post, DPMS style barrels and BCGs can be used to complete these rifles. Actually, about 95% of the rifles we complete are finished with DPMS style barrels and BCGs. But you can always use your Armalite if you prefer, they work equally well. Just ALWAYS ENSURE THAT YOUR BARREL EXTENSION MATCHES YOUR BCG, AND YOUR GAS TUBE. Thanks, Chris
  6. Well, the powers to be have allowed me to show the members of this website some gratitude. I happen to be sitting on some blemished receiver sets. (Matrix Aerospace 762, upper and lower) I sell them very well on Gun Broker for $210.00 shipped. I asked the administrator of this website if I could offer 25 of them for sale to the members here, as a way to say thank you. I don't know if 25 will sell quickly, or not at all, but it's just something I'd like to make available if there's an interest in them. They are $165.00 each, including shipping, to your FFL. This is just my way of saying "Thank you!" to a portion of the firearms community that stood up for me in my absence. I was instructed to make the offer available under the sales and coupons section of this site. http://forum.308ar.com/forum/39-sales-and-coupons/ It is titled: Thanks, Chris
  7. Recently, I was the focus of a disgruntled customer on this website. This gentleman was displeased with his purchase despite receiving a product that he was very pleased with, and despite it arriving in record time (FL to KS in three or four days after payment was made.) Regardless, this gentleman had nothing good to say about me, or my business. In an attempt to say thank you for your support, I'd like to offer twenty five (25) receiver sets to the members of this site, and members of this site only. Please, let's limit this to two per customer. Matrix Aerospace AR .308 (blemished) receiver set (upper and lower) The price is $165.00 shipped to your FFL How to order: Send us an email at RiedemanFirearms.com and we'll get you taken care of. I will set 25 of these aside until they are all sold to members of this site. You MUST reference www.308AR.com in order to get this deal. I'd also like to verify your membership to this forum, but I don't exactly know how I'd do that, so we'll be working on the honor system, which there's plenty of here. ***Please include the url to your 308AR.com profile in the email. -Robo Payment will be by check or money order, with the total being $165.00 shipped to your FFL. If you want a 13.5" key mod hand guard (with all mounting hardware and barrel nut) then please add $100.00 to your order and we'll get that to you at the same time. (These are also made by Matrix Aerospace.) Again, my thank youth those who responded to the original post. I hope you guys take full advantage of this deal. Respectfully, Chris Riedeman
  8. Recently a disgruntled customer attempted to bash me using this website. It didn't go over well on this forum. I'd like to thank Rob Sotelo for bringing the matter to my attention, and all the members who cared to respond. I appreciate my customers and the support of the firearms community. I am trying to find a suitable way to thank the members of 308AR.com. Once I hear back from the director of this web site, then I'll know if I can thank you guys accordingly, the way I'd like to be thanked. Chris Riedeman
  9. My name is Chris Riedeman. I'm the guy that LtKrich is talking about. I’m the owner of Riedeman Firearms. Let me begin by saying that I deal with many people a day, and I try to please them all. Despite my best efforts, sometimes I fail. In this case, I thought things were handled pretty well. If memory serves, his item was shipped the same or next day, and it arrived to him in three or four days, which isn't bad considering that he's in KS and I'm in FL. His item also arrived undamaged. Tyler Krich's biggest complaint is that we failed to communicate well with him. This is not reasonable as he called from the moment he purchased his receiver set to the time it arrived. He called again when he thought that his package didn't get delivered as he thought it would be. My wife assured him it was at his FFL dealer's location. It was. To say that this gentleman didn't fit the profile of one of my "regular" or "standard" customers became obvious immediately. Nevertheless, I don't mind "needy" customers. As a business owner, all customers are good ones. Customer satisfaction is my job. When a customer takes the time to write such a long and drawn out complaint, it stands to reason that I failed. So, to Tyler Krich, I apologize for not meeting your standard. Let me assure you that I have a short memory and I don't hold grudges well at all. Please feel free to contact me directly and I'll see what I can do in regards to making a better second impression. Chris Riedeman Riedeman Firearms (407) 873-4601
  10. This dude is a spiteful joke, a liar, and a poor businessman. Buyer beware.

  11. Yes, I have had a lot of listings for these on Gunbroker.com, and I am sorry that our timing was off guruofhotrod. My listings will be up on Gunbroker for a while longer, but consider ordering directly through me. When I don't have to pay Gunbroker any fees, I pass the savings along. On Gunbroker, I charge $25 for shipping to help offset their fees. I can charge less when I don't have to pay so much in fees for each set. For a 7075 T6 aluminum forged matched upper and lower receiver set, I believe my prices are the best anywhere on internet. Keep in mind these were made by the same company that produces ALL of Rugers 762, 556, and LCR models, so the quality is outstanding. I don't think there are any other sets available for less, anywhere. I am in the process of starting up my new website under my new business name. I am doing this because I have a new FFL license which covers manufacturing as well. I should have everything finalized this week.
  12. I am new to 308AR.com and want to introduce myself. I am a dealer in St. Cloud, FL and I just received another shipment of Matrix Aerospace (Ruger) 7.62 (.308) and 556 (actually marked "Multi") matched upper and lower receiver sets. I am a gun owner/active shooter first, and dealer second. I am more than a little concerned with the cost of AR 308 components, and the increased price that these items normal command for NO REASON at all. I am posting here in order to let people know that they do not need to spend $400 to $600 for a .308 receiver set, especially when dealers are getting them for much less. I have never attempted to post on any forum before, and am unsure if dealers are welcome or not on this site. If I am out of line, please do not hesitate to let me know. If on the other hand, anyone is interested in a new 762 receiver set, I have matching stripped upper and lower Matrix Aerospace (Ruger) sets for sale for $299.00, plus $15 shipping to your FFL. I also have Matrix Aerospace (Ruger) 556 AR-15 matched upper and lower receiver sets for $115.00, plus $15.00 shipping to your FFL. I have everything else required to complete your AR10 builds as well; and I offer discounts on the sale of multiple/group buys. I usually have enough in stock to provide sequential serial numbers on orders under 25 sets. Please feel free to take a look at my feedback on Gunbroker.com. My screen name is the same as here, "Riedeman Firearms". My dealer license number is 1-59-30285. Thanks, Chris Riedeman RiedemanFirearms@aol.com (407) 873-4601
