  1. It sounds like mother nature is being a psycho bitch in more places than just here.
  2. Was installing that exact spring and detent while sitting at my kitchen table once. Something slipped and zoom gone! There was a clatter against the wall in an alcove about 10 ft away so I went and looked, cussing the entire time because of course, no replacement in the house. Lo and behold I found both of the little fukkers! I almost felt like buying a lotery ticket that day.
  3. Last week Wed. 10" of snow. Today 63*
  4. OMG!
  5. Oh poor poor you! 😁
  6. Oh yeah! A 42" mounted to the front of my riding mower. I did mine and 2 neighbor's driveways. When spring finally gets here the blower comes off and the mower goes on.
  7. Over 10 inches of snow since last night and still coming down at 1:30 pm. Its the biggest snowfall we have had all winter so far

  11. Here in Northern Wisconsin I've got 8" in the yard. Better them than us! She will get spring a month before we do in any case. 😀
  12. The heat wave is coming! Its 0* at 6am.
  13. This IS big, but it can be reinstated just as easily with the next Dem. presidency. The climate will be much different (I hope) by then but even so.
  14. Ok, Its actually a Chevy!
  15. -27 when I left the driveway this morning. Its a balmy -5 right now and will be getting colder shortly.
  16. A pick me up for a cold winter day https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1BGuemRVmt/ Turn on the sound in the upper right corner of the video!
  17. I'm no expert on older pickups, but this is just fucquing cool.
  18. It sounds like you need to be in the market for a 10 or an 8 gauge shotgun.
  19. The one thing you cannot quiet down is the SLAM of the action as it rams home into the breech. I don't hear the sliding of the greased spring inside the buffer tube at all when I pull the trigger on my suppressed 300 BLK, but the clack of the action is loud enough that I can't tell how quiet the shot actually is. Someone standing a few feet away sure can, but they don't have the action slamming back and forth next to their ear.
  20. I woke up yesterday to -11 F, the high was +1. Today it started at -8. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be in the 30s. Yo Yo temperature swings these days

    Not here in WI

  22. As I recall I had a similar issue with the gas tube on mine. My solution was a bit different tho. Once the barrel was in place and the barrel nut tightened down I did a bit of Dremel tool gunsmithing and notched the front face of the nut to allow the tube to fit. With the adjustable gas block it runs supers two clicks from completely shut off. Subs don't cycle at that setting but I have an 8" barrel BLK that is primarily for subs.
  23. 150 gr is a magnum load. If your rifle isn't rated for it I wouldn't be shooting 150. 100 gr is much more comfortable to shoot and unless you are really trying for extended range 150 isn't worth it. At 100 yards and in the deer will never know the difference.
  24. How far away from whatever you were using for a target were you? The farther you are away from the target, the more up you will move the red dot to match the boresight. 30 ft across a room is way different than 50 yards.
