Naaaaa. I'll concentrate on reloading for the ones I have and crazy projects like possibly cutting and reforming cases.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I've had way more than 5 empty 35 Whelen cases in my possession and not the first inkling of desire for a rifle. I'm trying to hold the line. My AR collection started with a Colt M4, then a 16" 300BLK, then an 8" 300BLK. A .308 AR followed and coerced me into adding a 6.5 Grendel. Feeding them is keeping me busy enough and now you think I will need a 35 Whelen? Silly Flyer!

I found about 100-150 of these 30-06 blank spent cases today at the shooting range. Are they any good for anything other than the scrap bucket? They are LC 12 headstamp. My only thought other than scrap was to cut them down to a length where they could be reformed into .308 cases. But then the question becomes is it worth the effort? I have been cutting down .223 cases for 300 Blackout since I started reloading and have the saw to do it, but would a .308 sizing die handle the stress of reforming a case this size. I've reformed .223 into Blackout and 7.62X39 into 6.5 Grendel using a blackout and Grendel sizing die. But again is it worth the effort? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

OK I understand. I have a picture of several bags of brass together, would that satisfy the picture requirement? As far as marking items sold, there is a constant flow in and out. What is sold out today may have a saleable quantity tomorrow. I want to be within the rules.

sketch, I'm not sure what the purpose of your post was but rest assured the cases I am selling are as advertised. As I said in my response to your first post in this thread the shell casings I am selling are just as I picked them up. Day of the week, time of day, or temperature of that day make no difference once they have been fired and cooled off laying on the ground, You are correct in saying reloaders need to know their brass life, and I make no claims about how many times the cases I get have been fired. All of them are a mixed bag, just as I have picked them up. I could add a bunch of pictures but to what point? Anyone who has been to a shooting range knows what fired brass looks like. A bunch of pictures would only add to bandwidth consumption and they would be on the thread forever with not being able to edit a post once it is up. I have had many extremely happy customers and quite a few repeat customers so I assume people are getting what they expect when they open the boxes.

Virtually all of them are once fired except the 45 ACP which has some twice fired commercially reloaded shells mixed in. I say commercially reloaded going by the ammo boxes I find in the garbage barrels at the range. They are just as I picked them up. Being within 10 minutes of the most prolific public range in the area has its benefits

Hi Adam My rifle is basically an Aero. I built it using all Aero upper, lower, and internal parts. It has been great so far and I have had no problems with it from the first shot on through today. Most of my posts here on the forum have dealt with it in one way or another, and my experiences with it.

Just call it a 7mm-08AR and enjoy the looks of WTF? on the faces of the people you are talking to. A buddy is tossing around building one in .243. The brass is a bit easier to find/scavenge for reloading.

Ohhh, the mouse guns, and a baby mouse gun arrived before the rat. First a Colt 6920 that no longer looks like a stock 6920, a 300 Blackout 16" Carbine, then a 8" Blackout pistol. It was a building progression. Bought the Colt first, bought the upper then the lower for the Blackout, built the lower and bought the upper for the pistol, then built the entire 308. Thankfully my wife understands the AR urge and went so far as to name them Thelma, Louise, Babette, and Bertha.

Its from MFT whoever that is. I picked it up at WalMart believe it or not.

This past winter/spring I assembled my 308AR from Aero Precison parts and a 18.5" lightweight Criterion barrel from Fulton Armory. From Areo: Enhanced Upper assembly Lower NiB BCG Charge Handle Lower Parts From Ebay: Carbine buffer tube 308AR buffer spring and buffer Everything went together without a hitch and the gunsmith that checked headspace said it was one of the few he has seen that came out to a zero (perfect from what he said). The first range trip was a bit nerve wracking because this was my first build from scratch and I had been reading horror stories for a couple months about how people couldn't get their 308 to run. I set the rifle in my rest, loaded a round into the magazine, popped the mag into the rifle, pointed it downrange and put my face into the crook of my elbow of my left arm before pulling the trigger. I figured if something was going to blow I didn't want my face 2" from the boom. Pulling the trigger was a non-event. The gun went bang, the case clattered into the wire mesh at the side of the station and the BCG locked back. Success! Next came two bullets in the mag. Again face in arm, pulled the trigger and bang clatter then another bang clatter on the second pull and locked open. Success again! Over the next 1/2 hour or so it ate every bullet I had along perfectly. Since then I have spent a lot of time developing loads for it and it has performed flawlessly with every single one. This rifle now has close to 1000 rounds through it with only 20 being factory PPU 147grain ball. All of the rest have been handloads of mine. I am thankful I did as much reading before the build process as I did and purchased all the major parts from one manufacturer to get them to play nicely with one another. It seems to have paid off.
