The 6.5 Grendel is a pretty sweet round, I regret selling mine. I thought the round had died off back in 2012-2013 when ammo was next to impossible to find so I sold it. I never took it out anywhere near that far though. Have you tried a 1000 yards with the Grendel?

That is weird. 5.11s stuff still gives off a lot of indicators though, imo. I prefer "grey man" type gear so I dont mind the rising popularity of that type of gear.

What kind of groups were you getting? I dont shoot long range too much but that seems pretty impressive, especially for 5.56.

Real comfortable too. At a $100 I was not complaining. I have not messed with too much of their other gear though.

I used to clean my AR15 everytime I shot it but not so much now of days. My Colt 6920 hit around 7k rounds with no cleaning and I had zero issues with it. It has been through several carbine courses and generally beat to poop but keeps ticking. I only recently cleaned it after changing gas the rings. Anyways, what about you guys?

I hear Aero Precisions LPKs are less than desirable. I have owned a few with no issue but they are not newer ones. He did say their recievers, barrels and buffer kits are gtg ,though. I have had very little issue with AP products although I do prefer BCM or SOLGW.

This is true to a point, used to be commercial parts were more common though and those guns usually had all types of stupid issues. I learned that lesson with DPMS and Bushmaster. AR10s are weird, I could not even swap mags between my Armalite and DPMS. That was over 10 years ago though.
