Did you see the video where he suggests the AK is a better rifle for the military than the M4 platform lol. Larry Vickers has some cool videos and seems like a legit badass but he also comes off as a used car salesman with alot of snakeoil type claims. Cool video though, BCM makes good chit.

Is this something a competent gunsmith could make work? Meaning If I ever decide to buy a .223 boltie is there ways for my smith to modify the rifle to shoot 5.56?

I had good luck with both RIA 1911s I had. I just found the article neat and its cool to see RIA get selected by a military/LEA. I was never the biggest 1911 guy though. I like the platform ,I just never invested the time to really learn it the way I should have. Ive owned: A few Colt 1911s A Les Baer monolithic heavyweight (forget the exact name) A couple RIA A SA RO (or Operator, I forget the name lol) The RIAs were just as functional, just not as purty (which is what is most important)
