I picked up one of the Stag 10 lefty receiver groups for cheap a while back. Thinking about maybe building a light weight 308 or something in 6mm that is low recoil.
-
Just saw that Aero has the lefty 308 upper/lower receiver set on sale for $199.
-
Has anybody ran these things? I have been looking around for use reports, and haven't found any. https://www.luth-ar.com/product/308-20-round-magazine/

Thanks. I trust you. Just verifying.

I looked on Sprinco's page and it says the RED is a carbine spring. I'm using a rifle extension and buffer.
-
I took my 10L out the other day to bang some steel. I love this rifle. I'm using a Colt rifle receiver extension, flatwire spring, and I think a Brownell's AR10 buffer. I tried using a 5 round Lancer. When I release the bolt catch (or run the charging handle) the bolt grabs the top round, but stops when the round is about 1/2 way out of the mag. Once I get the first round in, it runs like a top. Any ideas? Do I need more spring? I really like the Lancer mags, is this rifle just not compatible with them? I don't think I've had any issues with the Magpul, Larue and another steel mag I have.

Got any small primer 10mm left?
-
I've always just full length sized brass to be used in my semi auto guns. Does anybody attempt to just shoulder bump with the 308AR? If so how much?
-
Is your list still current?

Looking to sell 2 bricks of Nosler Custom Competition bullets/projecticles. These are 155 grain, and come in 1000 count boxes. I purchased several years ago. These were not purchased as blems. I think my pricing is fair, but if you have a reasonable offer, please private message me. $365 delivered EACH to lower 48. Zelle, Venmo, Postal money order.

I don't remember if I mentioned this in my last post, but I'm a 20 year "beginner" guitar player. Also had a good time building a MOJO Princeton Reverb last year. I also play around with HAM radio a bit. I have my tech license.

Never cruised up there. We used to spend a lot of time at Brown's camp in Oregon, though.

They did. We grabbed YJ AX15's for the swap.

My buddy and I both bought YJ Wranglers around the time I got off active duty in 06. Ironically they were both 4 banger manuals. Around 2011 I finished my auto tech school under Toyota and I started pulling it apart and built a 92 Dodge 5.2 EFI engine. I was able to mate the Magnum to a factory Wrangler AX15 with a Dakota bellhousing. Weird, but it was great because I only needed engine mounts welded in and everything else bolted on. I spliced the looms.....I'm getting way to technical for most. Narrowed HP D44 front, 8.8 rear. Air lockers all around. Terra 2 low in the TC. And A/C. Anyway, my buddy got jealous and did the same. It was pretty fun. We hauled them from the PNW to the Rubicon and had a great time. I moved to a free state (WY) and met him and a few other buddies in Moab last summer. I've sold my YJ and goofed around with an XJ (Cherokee) for a while, but I'm just so busy with school (again) that I'm just down to a 16 4Runner bone stock daily. My back is so jacked from the Army, I don't think I'll do much wheeling again, but it was fun. Here are a few pics of the monstrosities. They weren't nice to look at, but were 100% reliable and could do any reasonable trail with ease. The red one is mine. My buddy still has his.

Can't remember if I posted here or not.... Anyway, Last winter I built a Mojo Princeton Reverb guitar amp. Pretty fun. Also, built several Jeeps to run around the Rubicon and in Moab.

Cool. May want to hit the introductions section and then the Mega section.
-
Thanks. Not terribly priced. It's worth it to me to work up my own loads. I enjoy the process.
-
Nice. I've only shot M80 ball and some 155 grain handloads (I'm currently working on). I haven't bought anything heavier yet. I'm getting around 2" with M80 and getting closer to an inch with the Nosler 155 CC handloads.

I was thinking about a Criterion Hybrid. I'm trying to get Stag to call me about about getting a barrel nut wrench. They are some sort of proprietary nut. I can't get a straight answer from anybody about whether the Aero nut wrench works or not.
-
Interesting. I thought all 3 were under the same umbrella.
