  1. How many mags can you carry in that set up?
  2. I scrape it out as best I can with a scraper or even a screw driver. Then I have a little round brass brush I put in the end of a military barrel rod, (it slides in) and brush back and forth around the entire area. It takes it all out.
  3. Is that a condor pouch?
  4. Just curious what do you prefer to carry your 308 mags, LBV, Chest rig etc. I like the 25 rnd mags and the surplus pouches don’t accommodate them very well so looking for a better set up
  5. Mine I had to drill the gas port out a fraction re installed the seekins adj gas block and works great. Barrel is a Ballistic Advantage mid length 16 in and love it.
  6. It amazes me how much effort is needed working out to lose a pound after 50 you. I do 9-13000 steps a day everyday on average, plus elliptical when I can cut down meal portions and watch what I eat and still struggle with weight loss. I need a good 40 pounds to be where I want, so not to bad but what a challenge
  7. And I should’ve used my led sled just forgot it at the house. I mean it grouped, just not the 1 to -1 in group I like to see. It was more like a 2-21/4 in group. I’ll be doing this again maybe this weekend.
  8. True statement no complaints with the rifle, matter of fact is a dream. Technique is good but do need more practice. I did find a load I like so try again in a few weeks.
  9. Went out this last weekend to try a few reloads and I like the LPVO Burris I have on it, but it’s hard to shoot groups at 100 yard with only a 6 power. Maybe a new scope in the future
  10. I posted all the info in a post called gas block. I’ll try to find it
  11. Thanks for the suggestions, I’m looking at all also at surplus ammo. I’ve used Surplus ammo a lot for my parts just not in the 308.
  12. I bought a profit elliptical last year and been using it off and on. I get going in a training routine then get sidetracked when something need attention etc, but trying to stay on a schedule. I need to lose 30 pounds at least.
  13. Geissele makes good stuff for sure
  14. Lmao that’s the plan lol
  15. I try to have a spare parts kit on hand for my ARs but when I go looking at Aero for bcg parts I can’t find any. So I guess they want you to buy a complete bcg and keep on hand which I don’t want to do. Now I’m scouring the net for gas rings, firing pins and other little part that could be needed somewhere down the line. Who would you look to for your spare parts? im running an Aero M5 DPMS pattern.
  16. I had read the same thing about getting an Armalite gas tube so I tracked down one that measured 121/8. The day I assembled my upper it came time to install the BCG and noticed it wouldn’t slide all the way in. Then realized the gas tube was extending past the can pin cut out requiring a shorter gas tube. a quick swap with an 113/4 gas tube and it runs great. The pic shows the one that to long. The tube should be about center of the notch but if yours runs and it’s good for you run it.
  17. Just a guess maybe the extension on the tool can be swapped out. That would be nice but who knows
  18. There’s been some really nice animals posted here, maybe I’ll be able to post one this up coming year now that my AR308 is finished
  19. I’m using a Grendel as well for deer. Man that Grendel is impressive I think I’m not scared of heights but think that would scare me if the wind picked up.
  20. Ya need a 308 just for the rattlers, WOW!!!!!
  21. Wow there that tough to bring down?
  22. Welcome from Arizona, nice rifle.
  23. Hog hunter ha, you’re my hero. Lol
  24. Welcome from Arizona. You’ll find the AR308 you have is a hungry girl and you’ll need to reload to afford to feed her lol. You made a great choice with Aero.
