  2. I recall this came up a few times. Brownells now carries the PRI adjustable gas block
  3. I think the confusion is that you had not previously verified to us that you are using Armalite AR-10 hardware and not M-15 which is Armalites AR-15 parts. Just looking out for you man
  4. I wonder if that is one of the other big DPMS contracts besides Mexico
  5. Well all clicks are recorded. Click throughs with purchases are best. Even though you have an account with them the click still registers. It's all done by a 3rd party Natchez, yeah they are bad. I found some ammo at a good price and now they keep emailing me more temptation
  6. If you find this site useful please try to click the banners here before you go so we get credit for the traffic rather than Google.
  7. Yeah they are the OEM source for some 308 brands. This is awesome news
  8. Hey thats a great idea.

    AR Trigger

Wilson recommended to me to NOT use their trigger in a 308. The only reasons they gave were it was not designed or tested in the 308 application. Not sure if maybe there's a hammer/bcg interference issue. Are you aware of anyone running these in the 308?
  12. the GG&G is based on the Bobro. Dont worry, the US Military gets them all
  13. Every now and then people on the web really surprise me with their generosity. In this case someone poking around my various sites noticed the "Help Wanted" request with regards to a logo for the site, t-shirts and caps. An outstanding human name Randy spent a weekend crafting various logos and asked for very little in return. Out of Randy's developmental process came a desktop wallpaper. I thought some of you guys here might enjoy it and maybe freak out your cubicle mates some. If you have a fairly large monitor the "Tile" setting will work best. The forum software would resize the attachment so im providing a download link instead. Download http://308ar.com/downloads/308arwallpaper.jpg Note:Your broswer may resize it to fit the window
  14. Is it me or if you connect the dots it looks like Odie from Garfield?
  15. ok we still have work to do on you and your wallet than <laughs> We need you to think like this: 1. Hmm I dont have on that color 2.Wait I dont have one in that caliber, that color with that barrel length 3. I should buy another for "Spares" 4. Wow i really like that new magazine release. I need to build a gun around it. 5. My wife will never let me by a bigger safe until I fill this one up 6. The purchasing of firearms stimulates the economy in an area that is important to me **This public service announcement brought to you buy the broke and poor staff of 308AR.com who will invent ANY reason imaginable to buy a new gun**
  16. If anyone builds a monolithic and can provide high quality images I would like to add them to the main site.
  17. I just happen to be wearing my GG&G T-Shirt today. We need to get you in a Bobro next <munch>
  18. great pics bro <thumbsup>
  19. I wonder if once installed the assembly can be removed with a strap wrench or heat to kill the epoxy?
  20. I forget to mention the boots are very light and comfy. I weighed them against my steel toe sneakers and they weigh 1/4 of a pound more
  21. I have a boot fetish similar to a womans shoe fetish so Im always trying out various tactical boots. It's my opinion that look to those who are on their feet all day for shoe guidance. In this case LEO and Military. The Shoemobile arrived at the office the other day and I was like a kid when I noticed the BATES GX-8 on the rack. There are several variations of the GX-8 but for my purposes I bought the desert tan, composite toe variation to satisfy my day jobs steel toe requirement. This boot is currently in use by some in our military in Iraq and Afghanistan. I poked around and found they are available at Amazon.com
