  1. I ended up with the $90 gas block
  2. I noticed this at Policestore.com today. The ANGLESIGHT allows aiming and firing around obstacles and corners, without having to put your life in the line of fire. The ANGLESIGHT has dual path optics and allows the shooter to immediately transfer from a concealed shot to a standard shoulder aimed shot without repositioning the optic or rifle. The ANGLESIGHT delivers a new capability to the urban combat tactical environment for safely identifying and firing upon targets. The ANGLESIGHT rotates 360º and allows the shooter the flexibility to hold the weapon and aim through the side port at any direction: left, right, above, etc. In training, the side window allows a coach or instructor an opportunity to see what the shooter sees. The ANGLESIGHT is a fully ruggedized 1x optical sight that is compatible with a wide variety of weapon sights including 1x tactical scopes, magnified weapon sights, laser designators and iron sights. The ANGLESIGHT is compatible with any caliber weapon including rifles, shotguns and less lethal weapons (gas guns) fitted with a picatinny rail. The ANGLESIGHT is entirely optical, requires no zeroing, calibration or external power source.
  3. I also explain it here about half way down
  4. He meant search this site, SASS barrel requires a proprietary gas block. Theres only two options and both are DPMS and pricey
  5. BTW Dillon has more ways to relieve you of cash than all the other reloading companies combined. I urge caution at that site. Give your credit card to the little woman.
  6. Make no mistake reloading is every bit the obsession as the weapons themselves. One day you look around and you have a pile of raw materials, presses dedicated to calibers like 45acp and 5.56. Theres always a tool to make the job easier, a second tumbler, better dies, better powder measures, more accurate scales... Visit Sinclair and Dillon. I will say as my reloading adventure matured for the most part I ended up with Redding Dies and Dillon dies and Redding powder measures across the board. That was a long time ago though so I cant speak for the current parts from Lyman,RCBS and Hornady Anyhow I would enjoy hearing what you guys end up getting now and over time. Maybe we can turn it into a reloading newbie article Dont forget to check out the Manuals. Lyman is a must and Hornady was my go to for loads mostly. I also had those one caliber books but they leave out the process details of the full blown manuals. Lastly dont use crappy measuring tools
  7. Just as a note to followers of this thread. C Products is under new ownership. While it's ok to order old stock thats on the shelf nobody is sure what the new owners will deliver in the way of product. It's an ugly drama right now with these guys
  8. No distractions and from personal experience dont use brass of unknown origin
  9. I agree a single stage, measuring and monitoring every round is the best way too start. I learned the hard way. Started off on a Hornady Progressive that had a serious design flaw they have since corrected. Anyhow because there was much to learn about the process and the machine I missed an intermittent problem with the powder dropping and powder system. Made quite a few bad rounds initially.
  10. Maybe send a PM to Armalite guy. He has posts in this section
  11. For now Im going to adopt a wait and see. While this topic appeals to a few folks here now lets see if it has sustained interest. Maybe one of the mods can move this and make a 300blk sticky in the reloading section or something. I dont want to try it from my ipod
  12. Do you need a Samson FFHG or an Adams Piston kit? <munch>
  13. I guess procrastinate is not in your vocabulary
  14. Thats not characteristic of Larue at all.
  15. you did it <laughs>
  16. Thanks for joining
  17. What a beauty
  18. I believe YHM makes the Fulton Armory Handguard ;D
  19. Welcome!!! Excellent weapon
  20. DPMS shutdown Bushy in Maine and moved operations elswhere. I would expect the lowers to be the same but as someone noticed the Bushmasters now have the removable trigger guard.
  21. news is quiet, probably busy because of the move
  22. 60D is a fantastic camera.
  23. Thanks for the link. The fear is now they will sneak it on to an amendment to other must pass legislation.
  24. Welcome!
  25. I just looked quickly. I didnt see any. I suggest looking at some of the pictures here at the site and work backwards. I also have a little info here on the main site. Matter of fact I think I need to update that page
