I swapped that scope this weekend, took the 1.5-4.5 off and put on a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40. Yay! I get to go back out and zero the rifle again.

Howdy. I have been hunting in the Victoria area several times.

We've been running the air conditioning on and off throughout the winter months, never gone two weeks without it. I AM complaining.

My kimber stays in the small safe when not on my hip, my LCP stays in a gun vault mini.

Since I couldn't get Recoil, I settled for Special Weapons for M&P. Excellent issue, very .308-heavy.

Went to B&N today, the dude said they had it, but sold out. Damn it.

Man, the rifle is top notch, handles real well, excellent ergonomics, firing/function was flawless. Recoil is easily manageable, even in this carbine configuration. I definitely need a different scope, this was only a 4x, but it was a tack driver at 100 yards shooting off sandbags. We were using HSM ammo. Here is my chief instructor test driving it that day...
