  1. Welcome aboard man!!
  2. <thumbsup>
  3. In the sticky thread with the buffer specs it says 3.5" for carbine 308, so it's probably the right buffer, it just seems freaking small. I'm sure it's fine, it says 308 on the label.
  4. Ahh, maybe so. D'oh! <thumbsup>
  5. So, I didn't need the receiver plate then? On my POF, the pivot pin detent and spring are held in by the grip. <dontknow>
  6. I have seen the spec sticky, and I've measured, and I'm still having a hell of a hard time believing this tiny little buffer is right ??!?!? <dontknow>
  7. You got that right! A carbon fiber forend isn't going to make the price tag that high.
  8. LOL, those boy are backwoods, but they sure have fun! And I can imagine this show is really going to put them on the map. I was watching the episode where they were putting together the lightweight ARs for the shooting instructor's school. He had his logo on his shirt so I googled him and checked out his site - they're selling the Katanas from Red Jacket right there in a joint site. Seems like he'll put together some pretty lucrative deals from this show.
  9. Welcome aboard!
  10. The charging handle reversability is one of the slickest things I've seen a factory do lately...
  11. I used to think the 7.62 NATO / .308 Win was the same situation as the 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem, where the NATO was the higher pressure round. But, thanks to this forum, i was corrected. The .308 Win has the higher pressure, so be sure to get a barrel rated as such. Unless I still have it backwards...??? <munch>
  12. Man on a mission!! <thumbsup>
  13. This could be pretty cool, definitely looks promising... Nutnfancy SHOT Show 2011: Beretta Set to Embarrass ACR! <munch>
  14. <lmao>
  15. That front hand grip looks awkward as hell to me, I'm going to try it out. ;D
  16. Welcome aboard! None of us were born knowing any of this, so no worries. Read through the forums, ask questions in the appropriate places, learn all you can. There is a very helpful community here! <thumbsup>
  17. Thanks for joining! Welcome!
  18. I'm not a big basketball fan. <dontknow> <lmao>
  19. Seen this? LaRue Tactical RISR
  20. I think ASA is compatible. American Spirit Arms
  21. Roger that. Take a look at this, UBR from Magpul. http://www.skdtac.com/Magpul_UBR_Collapsible_Rifle_Stock_p/mag.211.htm
  22. You mean like the TP9? Never seen / heard of one like it.
  23. The PRS is awesome for fine-tuning adjustability. Shock absorption isn't what I would call it's strong suit though. Although, there is a cool little stand for the bottom of the stock, for bench rest shooting. What are you wanting to know specifically? Also, I have some pictures in the DPMS pictures forum.
  24. <thumbsup> I'll look at a Magpul when they make Blackberry cases.
  25. Right on, sorry to bring it up. And thanks for your service! <thumbsup>
