  1. Welcome aboard fellow Texan! Please feel free to contact an admin or mod if you have any trouble getting logged in from here on out. <thumbsup>
  2. Got the email today - very cool. <thumbsup>
  3. This is pretty cool (it was for me anyway). http://www.2ndamendmenttv.com/videos/shotguns/lost-arts-pt-1.html
  4. Not yet. We were told the purchase would take 9-12 months to complete. http://www.energytransfer.com/press_release.aspx?idPressRelease=384
  5. Well, it was announced today anyway. Another energy company is purchasing the one I work for, with an $8 billion price tag.
  6. Man, that was a fun game to watch. The canucks were getting desperate as early as the first period.
  7. As a native of Maine I'm glad to see this happen. I hated to hear when Remington shut the plant down.
  8. I got them today. They have a 24db rating. Should be pretty good really.
  9. Go Bruins!!!!! <thumbsup>
  10. I just ordered a couple pair. I firgure they'll be good for shooting rimfire, and as a secondary device under my Caldwell electronic earmuffs. Plus I'm supporting a forum sponsor. <thumbsup>
  11. Welcome sir!!
  12. LOL, popcorn fart, obviously a Maine thing - I say it all the time and these Texans don't know wtf I'm talking about.
  13. Thanks all.
  14. And that is probably exactly why many UN member countries would like to disarm our population, so they can bring a ground fight to us.
  15. Not really, no more than has been mentioned. This has been known for a while though.
  16. Has anybody used these, or know anything about them? http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=23976/sku=152000054/Product/EARPRO_SONIC_DEFENDERS?mc_ID=5514
  17. Well, that's what the H is for. :) You're right on though, I handled one and they are indeed nose heavy.
  18. Cool, bgc!

  21. I have a couple hundred rounds of their .223 stuff, but never shot it.
  22. Ha, no, no sales pitch here. I'm a member of a private club (Bayou Rifles). We have two ranges, one is at Eldridge Parkway and I-10 and the other is down by 288 and the Beltway. The one in Addicks Reservoir is pistol and rimfire rifle. The one down south has shotgun, pistol and rifle ranges at 100, 200, 300, 600 and 1000 yards. The one at Eldridge and I-10 is handy to the NW part of town and we have steel silhouettes for pistol bullseye or rimfire rifle and a few short-work pistol ranges, very nice to get away from the idiots of the general public. It's $140 / year. For me, it's like 5 miles away and worth every penny to be able to go whenever I want and have only other members shooting around me. <thumbsup>
  23. Welcome! When I was putting my POF together I originally wanted the Vltor IMOD clubfoot, but it wasn't readily available. I ended up with the Magpul ACS and it's great.
  24. Small sample from that shoot - in the last pic she's holding my FNP-9 and FNP-45. http://www.behance.net/gallery/Big-Trucks-and-Big-Guns/1093395 :o
  25. edge - did you post this on the 22 site? I've had it happen a few times. I think the problem lies with the angle of exit from the mags. It seems on mine they can vary, and I can sometimes get halfway through a mag and one will come out at a bad angle and _crunch_.
