  1. Do you have any idea what that costs in Cali? First, I guarantee I'll get a cmmg part but it'll sell for top Noveske prices. Second, the guy will insist that they don't sell individual parts and he'll install it for me at $80 per hour. Last, his monkey-ass will break something and tell me it was a worn/inferior piece. .. refer back to step 1 I feel guilty saying this... the only shop that treated me good just got popped. Not in the typical way either... INS/ICE grabbed the owner. I've known the dude for years... never knew he was illegal.
  2. The part that pissed me off the most was the ejection port cover, and pin. I have the stupid spring and c clip already
  3. Made a holiday order to finish my wifes rifle, forgot the little parts.... Grrrrrrrr 1. Standard AR15 charging handle 2. Ejection Port Cover Assembly
  4. You put in a big holiday order, only to remember the next day that you forgot the cheapest part of the order >:( Now the shipping cost is more than the stupid parts!!!
  5. Dear Santa, ETP/EPP for my .308 would be very dandy indeed!
  6. No one can afford to shoot 10k rounds of .308 to wear out the round wire spring... I have the Tubb CS flat spring in my rifle, but I started with it. I can't give you a good "one vs the other" argument.

  8. That's funny every time I see it
  9. Tell the truth now... you just didn't want to see the man waste a perfectly good dinner. Lol Get ready to start signing those retirement checks directly to Brownells, and welcome.
  10. Damn Rip! It took you 11 months to get that itty-bitty pin out??? Glad you found your way back here. Lol
  11. This has been updated with the current group buy link. Also... Check out the NEW model they just came out with. The TacOps-1-CQB is already out on the market.
  12. I have several sets of back up sights. Thus far, the MBUS are my favorite. I really want the HK416 style barrel sights.
  13. Are you just ringing steel and poking holes in paper? Or are you trying to put hot pieces of metal into furry meat? I can show you a video of an 8" barrel shooting a suppressed 205gr 300Blk out to 700+ yards... I don't think I'd hunt like that though.
  14. Wow... I think a certain Uncle "somebody" need to ring in here, and share his view... And whether or not he gets a good price on the Alias <thumbsup> :sniper:

You guys are still allowed to own guns? Your neighbors are screwing up our NorCal votes.
  16. Magpul sights are great sights. If you're running backup sights, I can't say there's any one better. For primary sights, they're a little slower to get a good sight picture. The Di-Optic sights take some getting used to. They are stooooopid fast once you get the hang of it. I was going to put mine on a patrol rifle if I ever got around to it. They are excellent "my life depends on it" sights. I think the only faster sights would be the HK416 barrel sight.
  17. If you're looking for QUALITY sights... I have set of Troy tritium Dioptic micro battle sights. I bought these directly from Troy when they first came out. They cost a fortune back then. I might be able to cut you a deal.
  18. You can't hustle with a stick like that. Lol

    NorCal or SoCal?
  20. So I was impressed... for about an hour. Then the excitement wore off, and the realism kicked in. Still not 100% ambidextrous... close... but NOT 100% As they state, they have an ambi bolt RELEASE... but there are still only two companies that make an ambi bolt CATCH. AXTS and Aero Precision are still holding that market firm. My next lower will be 100% ambi. The STT is very nice looking, but I want more.
  21. www.SanTanTactical.com Wow! I'm impressed... affordable too! This definitely turned my head away from the EXTRAORDINARILY overpriced AXTS I was trying to justify buying. Looks like a new candidate for my pistol build... I can't wait to see what SHOT turns out this year.
  22. I happen to know Bubba like to hang out at a local pheasant club... If we're betting $$, that's my guess.
  23. BAD Inc, ETP/EPP <thumbsup>
  24. I love great customer service, and I will always support a company that shows stellar CS. Brownells and Rainier Arms have always been my "go to" companies. Brownells is always good about returns with no questions asked. I love them for that. I also love that they ALWAYS answer the phone and I can talk to an actual HUMAN BEING. A few years ago I ordered a stainless steel match barrel from Rainier Arms. They sent me a black barrel instead of the s/s barrel I ordered. They emailed me a return shipping label the day I called them, and immediately overnighted a new barrel to me. I sent the first barrel back that afternoon and had a new barrel in my hands the following afternoon. WHO WORKS ON THE HONOR SYSTEM ANY MORE? ??? RAINIER ARMS does, that's who! Today I had another great experience, this time with DSGArms.com (excerpt from my email this morning) The honor system again?!?! Who would have thought that companies would actually carry out this practice? I understand that I'm only dealing with about $10 worth of product... but the practice is impressive no matter what the value it. I'm so appreciative that I'm making another DSG order today... just because!
