    98's 6mm ARC

It's killing me, brother, more than you know. I should be shooting this fucker by now. Here's where we sit, since the last update. 5 new Alexander Arms 17-rd Grendel mags for this one, that will be painted with the gun, matching the gun, the Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 HD scope at 2.5~15 came in, and I pulled the MagPul FDE M-LOK bipod for this one. There is literally ONE THING LEFT TO SHIP for me to shoot this fucker - and that's the LaRue Ultimate Upper Kit. Everything else that I need is in that order... With the LT-158 mount. FML, man...
  2. That's 21 FEET. You'd prefer that he was 3 yards away, before you fire? Are you serious? You DO KNOW the 7-yard rule, right? You were a LEO. You're aware of the 7-yard rule?... As a LEO, this might be past your time, but it's something that you should be aware of. Modern tactics, modern world. You never let ANYONE that is a threat within 7 yards to you - if they're a threat. This 7-yard rule has been written about for decades, in self defence. Decades.
  3. Brother - Ruger hasn't made a bad RPR yet. They rock. Pick the right caliber, or you'll get your ass kicked come long range day... In reality, it doesn't matter which caliber you choose - those RPR guns are solid. As Fuk. It won't let you down. ^^^ That's just me, trying to be honest, beyond the obligatory Shiit-Talking... ...that you deserve... ...no matter which way you go...
  4. It's a .22LR, and it's a bad little bastard - Congrats on that one. Those things are tough, and cool at the same time. Love 'em.
  5. Oh, however, you directly stated that it was right here on this board - and it's not a "blog." read your own words below... vvv - I'll highlight them for you in the same red color, as above. Makes it easy to see, and pick out in the crowd. I make that easy enough to see, and understand? There's nothing for me to "calm down about" here. You're talking bullshiit, and I'm calling it - it's pretty easy. Oh, by the way, I was calm, the whole time I was doing it, too. Just so you know... Decaf is for pussies, too. Don't recommend it to me. You're an idiot, or a sheep, if you think that decaf helps anything. You kinda started with the personal insults, there. If you'd like to continue that path, I'll shut your Cock-Holster for you real fast.
  6. Remington is who is answering that one... It's not anybody that ever worked at DPMS.
  7. I'll PM you two other numbers to try - you'll get through on one of them.
  8. There is no "Rule 64b" here, brother - unless you wanna get one activated. There is a Lesson 65b - You Snooze, You Lose. That is the one you're talking about, I suspect. It's not a Rule here, and you don't ABIDE... It's a Lesson that you learn - once you try to buy something that you waited on... and now that fucker is OOS, EVERYWHERE... You learn this Lesson the HARD WAY... This was Drew's Original Lesson to the board here, I'm sure he wants it preserved. Because he passed it on, and it was hard to learn then...

    98's 6mm ARC

AWESOME POST, MAN!!! THANK YOU!!! I honestly stopped checking. Saving that data right now. Minor update on the Magic LaRue 6 ARC coming up tonight. It's just pics and talk - but it's better than nothing... Baby Steps, brothers, Baby Steps... A brand new cartridge that creates a hysteria in the "AR Distance World" is launched for a Major Fake Pendemic and Major Fear Crisis - with new gun buyers snatching up everything that they didn't know that they needed 20 years ago, and everything the wished they had now... OUT OF STOCK. Then, they want every that Ahhh-nold used in the first Terminator, too, on top of that - even the Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40-watt range. And we're just here, not fucking around, trying to get a 6 ARC built, and shoot it against a damn 6.5 Grendel and a .224 Valk, and maybe a Mk11 in .308 Win. And we can't do shiit... It's frustrating, but it's the world we're living in now. It's the weirdest shiit I've ever seen in the gun world, and that includes all the years of bullshiit after SandyHook.
  10. What phone number did you call?
  11. You don't just go to the address, and walk in the front door. There's not even signage out front, identifying what the location is. When you drive up - you don't even know if you're in the right place of not - you look at the address, look at the front of the building... and you're still not sure. The main door has a cipher lock - you don't get to just "open the front door" to them. ASll the front glass is mirrored - you don't get to look in there. You ring a buzzer. After a minute, a GIANT dude answers that door, and asks you when you're there. So you tell him. If you pass his check - you get in. If someone at Armalite told you that you could come up there - then you better remember the name of the person that told you that. If not - you ain't getting in. So, once you get in there - you're in a main lobby that will blow your mind. That GIANT dude that let you in will tell you to "stay right there..." ...and you WILL, too. He gets the person that told you to come up there, and that person comes to the front lobby. You handle your business that you were allowed to handle - and you leave. And that GIANT dude makes sure the door is shut when you exit. They don't do storefront sales. They don't have customers come in and buy things. There's no "I'll just swing buy and see what they have ready today" in that place. I have two people I can call to get into that building. One is one of the guys that gets parts for people. The other one is the guy that runs the entire NEXUS Ammo section/company/department - whatever size of the company that is, and they call it. There aren't any financial issues with the company, at this time. Just because a local gun shop doesn't have an interest in carrying their product, should that mean that the company has financial issues? I think not. My Gun Pusher hates Springfield Armory, and before the Hellcat - he wouldn't carry ANY SA product. Does that mean that SA was going under?... I don't understand the rationale in going between "my local dealer has no interest in Armalite" and "that company must be in financial trouble..." I just don't get the link. Let me know what I'm missing in that... EDIT - This is the same exact thing that Timney does. Timney Triggers are in Phx. They don't have a storefront, and don't do walk-in sales, off the street. Now, based on that, I've been to Timney, and talked to the ladies in the front office before - because there's no "customer storefront." My visit was great, the front office people are fantastic. And my trigger wasn't "shipped to me." Business rules, are whatever the business decides that they are. If you raise hell about a business's rules - you don't change anything. If you talk to people nice on the phone - you learn other information... There I go again. I just did it. I stated something about "talking to someone on a phone" again, instead of sending a text or an email, or posting on their FaceBook/Instagram Page... How dare I...
  12. Armalite AR-10 Carbine Recoil System KIT, first off. Springco Orange spring and KAK Shorty buffer (5.3oz), second. No matter which one you go with, you'll need the offset buffer retaining pin.
  13. How did you do that? Remington shut DPMS down a few months ago. That's total bullshiit, right there - that doesn't fly on this board, and never has. As soon as I see that bullshiit spread, I shut it down. Go find it, since you saw it here on this board. Here's an example of that exact discussion, handled last week, through a PM... Go tell Mister DPMS to read this, and refute it.
  14. One other thing about all these body cameras - I've use the GoPros enough to quantify this statement - it's just like your passenger-side mirror...
  15. If you've been in a combat zone, you'll know what I mean... That was a non-complying threat, and a life-threatening situation - with complete non-compliance, and ignoring everything that was told to him. And he was killed for his decisions, alone. Nothing more. It's pretty simple. In reality.
  16. He just crashed his truck into five other vehicles, totaled his truck, and he was already reported as suicidal, prior to said incident... If you were a cop - or armed military - and you were approached like that, in that situation - the fucker would be shot. Tell me about your LE and MIL experience in this kind of scenario, now... I'll wait...
  17. Did you ever check the headspace in that gun, before you fired it?...
  18. Raping a 6-yeal old thread is what's driving this conversation, right now... NecroPosting... I'm just sayin'...
  19. I still have it. Shot very little. I think I'm gonna offer it up for a raffle, because I don't sell guns. Ever. This "Panic" is making it hard, though - I could probably get $1400 for that thing. I'm actually saving that one for Anthony... You'll get that, and understand why... Oh, I know exactly how many I have, brother. And I know which "#" this 6 ARC is... I might forget which locker, box or safe a certain one is in, but that's to be expected, kinda... They move depending on use, and space. I need another orange vault again. Free some movement up.
  20. She's badass enough, that I think YOU will be makin' HER Sammich, brother... I'm just sayin'... When she tells you to make it, too...
  21. She's sleeping on the dragon. I don't even think he knows what planet he's on...
  22. Any takers? She's the 23-year old LAPD Officer that shot this guy brandishing a knife, and wouldn't drop it when told to do so.
  23. She lost her sandals - his are still on, somehow...
  24. @392heminut - this thread had you written all over it, brother.
  25. That's not something to worry about, and the difference in that drawing is there because the milspec uses rolled threads, and the commercial uses cut threads. The only way to tell the difference isn't by looking at them - it's by measuring the O.D. Mil=spec is 1.14" OD, and commercial is 1.17" OD. That will tell you right there what you have, right away. Digital vernier caliper is the fastest way to find out. Don't measure threads, and waste your time - measure the smooth part. You'll know right away. This should break it down pretty easy for you:
