  1. Your gas port diameter is too small to cycle subsonic .308 Win loads, with suppressor. What's your gas port diameter in the barrel?...
  2. Nope, lets get it straight - it's Salted Caramel Whisky... He better not drink the stash, before the Fall Shoot...
  3. She's an anomoly. And she is badass. Nothing wrong with your head, in that thought process. She's always been hot, man... You ever see when she pierced her nipples?...
  4. You did NOT just go there...
  5. Whatever happened with this girl? She was supposed to go to Africa and hunt illegal poachers.
  6. This is gonna be SWEET!!!
  7. DAMN, brother!!! That sounds like one of my motocross wrecks... Get better, and follow what the Doc tell ya!
  8. Well, THAT SUCKS!...
  9. Yep, they're done now.
  10. ^^^ That last pic is Christmas Abbott... She's been a Dream Girl of mine for a long time now...
  11. Very important questions here - not like the others weren't important, too - get to those first... then... What AMMO are you shooting, that's causing this malfunction?... How many rounds are through this gun so far?... How well did you lube it?...
  12. Gas port was too small. Not uncommon these days, with barrel manufacturers on every street corner. There's a vast many of them that don't know what they're doing, and shouldn't be in the gas-gun barrel business.
  13. Absolutely. Accu-Washers are far superior to peel washers, and crush washers. It's all I use for muzzle devices now, and for the last several years.
  14. Need aaaalllllloooooooootttt more information here. You've listed two parts of your system. The barrel and recoil system parts. Need to know the rest of the parts that make up this whole gun. Next, need your definition of "short stroking" - describe exactly what a fired cartridge does - what happens when you fire one round? Read this thread when you have time - it's important. Your Criterion barrel will have a 0.095" gas port diameter, if the gas block journal size is 0.750". That's a given, and that would be the correct gas port size for that barrel configuration. More than anything, we need to know what you're talking about, with the "short stroke," because that shouldn't be the case here, with your combination of parts. Where does your gas tube end, in the upper receiver? If you read that thread I linked above, you'll know exactly what I'm asking about.
  15. They run a full-blown NICS check on you guys, just for a box of ammo?
  16. FUk no, I can't build one, brother - If I could, I'd be a millionaire, and I'd have a hundred of them already. I know a guy that has an original - a REAL original, from WWII - and he makes them based on THAT spec. It ain't cheap, and one day, he's gonna have to make one for me. .303 Enfield action is almost all the same. #4, #3, it won't matter. The preferred to make one is from the #5, Jungle Carbine - but it doesn't matter which action it's made from.
  17. I'm not a COMPLETE dickhead - I'll help, brother... Start here, and you'll fall down that rabbit hole - I'm warning you now. This is my Holy Grail gun, right here.
  18. 1. Take both. 2. Send one to Tom-Ass. 3. Watch Tom-Ass turn one into a De Lisle Carbine. 4. Wish that you would have turned the OTHER one into a De Lisle Carbine. 5. Ask Tom-Ass where on this great planet that he even FOUND a place - to make a De Lisle Carbine out of an Enfield. 6. Send that other gun off to the place that Tom-Ass told you about, and turn the OTHER Enfield into a De Lisle Carbine. 7. Enjoy the rest of your life, firing the quietest .45 ACP Integrally Suppressed Bolt Gun in existence... Happy Ending, right there... I'm just sayin'...
  19. Africanized Bees, brother. "Killer Bees." They received an ass-whoopin' after months of torment upon thee... And then - they decided that MY FRONT DOOR was where they would "expland their horizons" and begin a new colony... Not in THIS HOUSE...
  20. Midsouth are my go-to guys, too... Midsouth won't know anything until Hornady catches up on production - which was why I called Hornady directly. Go directly to the source, and talk to a human. Starline doesn't even have the caliber listed in their rifle brass yet - my plan was to call them tomorrow, and ask directly. I'll put the results up in here tomorrow night. Talk to humans, brothers, talk to humans. Emails get blown off, but you can corner a human, whilst on the phone, talking to them. Most humans get nervous if they don't know something, or they've been directed not to answer it, and they.... What? ...transfer you to someone higher in the food chain. Or, if they really don't know, then you ASK for a person higher in the food chain. Most of the time, they never had a clue in the first place that they were being interrogated... Emails, texts, posts on a company's FB page... Meaningless, in the big picture. If they feel like responding, then they will. That doesn't generate near the information - that talking to a human does. I'm just sayin'... We've forgotten that, in our cyber-world that we live in.
  21. .303 Enfields are a HOOT, brother!!! That's a damn nice gift you received! Not trying to instigate or anything, but is one like WAY rough, and the other clean? That rough one is the PERFECT specimen to turn into a De Lisle Carbine... I'm just sayin'...
  22. Interesting- where did you order it from? It might be on backorder for a long time - I'm holding out for Starline to release some brass, and I'll grab 1k from them. I know Hornady is ass-deep in making loaded ammo for the .mil folks using this cartridge, then all other brass is going to loaded commercial ammo for us normal people - after they catch that up, they'll start packaging virgin brass for us reloaders. That phonecall was last week.
  23. Aero won't know - BA makes their barrels. Getting Clint from BA on the phone is almost impossible, too. The real-deal spec on barrel extension torque, at least militarily, is 175 lb/ft. That extension should NEVER come off, unless you really mean it.
  24. If I can find that video, it's on, brother. Big new can of Carb cleaner, BBQ lighter, and strap your balls on tight and just get after it. They don't come back from that...
  25. Did you ever hatch the plan for that .22lr rifle?...
