EasyEJL Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 need to know what muzzle brake I should put on it and have pinned for an OAL of 16.25I have one of these on the 20" barrelhttp://www.midwayusa.com/product/734627/nordic-components-corvette-compensator-muzzle-brake-5-8-24-thread-ar-10-lr-308-stainless-steeland its nice. Given that i'm not building a new upper, just replacing the barrel, should I just reuse that?
392heminut Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 If you like it and it's working good for you that's what I would stick with.
survivalshop Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) Question is , with the cut down barrel , will it give you the length you need . Your cutting down an 18" or a 20" ? Cutting it down to 16 " or going shorter & want a Brake / Compensator to make it out to 16.25 " Edited November 30, 2014 by survivalshop
Robocop1051 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Don't chicken out... 13.7" middy + KX5!!!! You might have to bore out that gas port to about .1
Robocop1051 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 First person to say it doesn't work, has to buy a Warsport/Salient Arms rifle.
