unforgiven Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 First is a modification to Crossbread holster for XDm I got awhile ago.I was unhappy with it because the barrel went past the leather and created a hot spot after prolong wear.Finnally went to shoe repaire/leather guy and he was able to help resolve the issue with additional leather.Back of extention was ground smooth.In the summer leather does wick sweat so another modification will be made relative to carry holster #2. unforgiven Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 The down side to bare leather in the summer is it wicks sweat.Then it dry and gets stiff.Will modify Crossbread with neoprene and suede.That's the ticket.
