montanayankee
Has anyone used Ares Armor's 80% lower receivers to build an AR? Saw them on FB today and was curious. http://aresarmor.com/store/Item/aa-billet-ar10-III-RAW
ironmonster
I have, I have also built lowers from several different makers and I can tell you when it comes to forged 7075 80% lowers they all seem to be about the same. The Ares have the rear take down lug area pre machined which I think makes them far easier to do and is a definite bonus

Robocop1051
if you hold out for a few more, Ares should be releasing their 99% "paperweights" soon

blue109
as long as it's not marked 99%, how would anyone be the wiser? "no Mr federal agent who violated my rights by pilfering my information from ares armor...this is not a 99% lowers. I chucked those in the trash the moment I realized they would usher in the downfall of western civilization. instead, I built these on some legal 80% lowers that I paid cash for. .
