HansRey Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 Looking at getting a suppressor for the Sig 716, I was looking at getting a silencer co specwar 762. Just curious if any one here has used them or has any recommendations for something other than silencer co. I was also looking at AAC. This will be my first suppressor purchase that probably won't get paper work filled out till july at the current moment, just looking at my choices. Also I know this could go into the hand gun suppressors but any recommendations on a suppressor for my hk usp and springfield XD would also be appreciated! Thanks Guys!
Magwa Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 AAC 762-SDN-6 you will not be disappointed period.......... awesome can...
AngelDeVille Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 AAC 762-SDN-6 you will not be disappointed period.......... awesome can... I have narrowed my search to this one ^^^^^
98Z5V Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 any recommendations on a suppressor for my hk usp and springfield XD would also be appreciated! Start with a Storm Lake threaded barrel for the XD. The USP is already threaded, correct?
912dawg Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 For the sig716, check out Dead Air Armament. Founded by Mike Pappas from Silencer Co. They have a Sandman L (long) and S(short). Use the L version for .308. It can handle anything up to, and including, .300 WinMag. One-handed attachment and detachment. They're pretty sick.
NTXshooter Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 I haven't compared my YHM Phantom Titanium QD to any others, but I am totally satisfied with it. Works great on my 300 Blk and my .308. As soon as I get some extra cash, I'll buy the QD flash hiders for my 6.8 and 5.56.
HansRey Posted April 11, 2015 Author Report Posted April 11, 2015 Start with a Storm Lake threaded barrel for the XD. The USP is already threaded, correct? The Hk sadly isn't threaded already, but I have found a barrel for it. And I'll look into storm lake. For the sig716, check out Dead Air Armament. Founded by Mike Pappas from Silencer Co. I'll have to check them out! And Thanks so far guys! Still comparing my options but when I finally do get the paper work filled out and submitted I will let y'all know what I ended up getting!
Rsquared Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 AAC. I've got a couple of them for the AR-10's, and a Ti-rant for the USP. Great cans (as Magwa said).
HansRey Posted April 19, 2015 Author Report Posted April 19, 2015 I will definitely check them out. I might also have to check the suppressors the father of the girl I've been hanging around makes. He just started putting them out and I'll be filing through him, so I may check his stuff out!
