I ended up making another more streamlined design and this has been sitting in my toolbox ever since. $75 shipped Weighs about 6.2 ozMinimum height from outside of rail is 3-7/8"Extended height from outside of rail is 5-1/2" Locks in both the up position and down position and has a quick position button on the threaded rod then rotates for fine adjustment.
