Robocop1051
You need a long barrel 10/22 Charger
imschur
You need a long barrel 10/22 ChargerChargers are considered "evil" here in the peoples republic of CT. My TAC21 is a bad ass pistol without its stock :) Edited October 14, 2015 by imschur
wetncold
I'm going to get a Kidd barrel for my Charger. I have an old one that puts many 22 rifles to shame. BTW, what optics do you guys run? I need a variable long eye relief with a fine cross hair. Most of them have clunky plex reticles or red dots that cover a Coke can at 100 yards. imschur
I went with a Leupold 4x fixed rimfire scope on this. On the low end Leupold is 2x7 and if you can dig a little deeper this 3x9x33 looks promising.
wetncold
I hate paying more for a scope than I paid for the gun. I might have to bite the bullet, though. Thanks!
Robocop1051
I have a Bushnell .22lr 3-9x. It cost me about $150 with a mount.

wetncold
My M1a is under $2000, but I built it myself. It is match accurate and has a $200 scope on it. Works good and lasts a long time.

wetncold
I always used Leupolds. But that was when I was working and could afford them. I sent one back that I have had for 40+ years and they rebuilt it and sent it back on their dime. Hard to beat that. After becoming disabled I no longer have the coins for all the super neat stuff. Besides, my eyes are not what they used to be so it probably don't matter anyway.
