Saw this on a local forum last night. Havnt had a chance to try it. Not sure if it's even a big issue, but worth mentioning. Can't really imagine a situation where I would be holding the trigger back without letting it reset so it may be a non issue unless it leads to doubling which I haven't heard of.

Looks like a Velocity rebranded trigger to me. They make triggers for lots of companies. $130 seems to be about the going rate.

Try this: Remove the lower from the upper. Let the hammer gently forward. With the trigger depressed, manually reset the hammer with your free hand. Keep the trigger depressed- don't let the trigger reset. Now knock or slap the rear of the hammer. It will fall forward. This doesn't happen with other triggers.

I can make the Timney triggers on both of my 15's double up almost at will...  it's a detriment if you're shooting for groups but not so bad while hunting...

Knock or slap the rear of the Hammer ?   Oh ya , that's the way to test a Match type FCG !

lol. When I read it, my first though was why would you do that in the first place?

Yeah, me too.  And the second thought was why do something that can't happen when the upper and lower are together?  Thought three is wondering how many tried this and damaged their rifles?  Freaking stupid.
