Armalite and a redhead to boot... so long as I have a face she'll never be at a loss for a place to sit...

my condolences on your loss...

yeah for sure... the last I bought on sale were 4 for $125.00 so $30 is a bargain... maybe I should grab a couple more...

welcome to the site from North Carolina... if you are familiar with the 357, a revolver may be the way to go for you... with the 357 you can also shoot 38special in the same gun... only difference is the 357 is a bit longer case length... with the 38 special you can get a multitude of different loads from soft firing wadcutter target ammo up to 38 plus P which is just under 357 in power... with 38's in a 357 revolver, the extra weight of the 357 frame makes it a very manageable gun to shoot...

isn't it amazing the way they learn... I had one come out of the woods, walked to the edge of the road, look both ways, saw me coming and walked back to the edge of the woods and sat till I passed... looking in the mirror I saw him walk back to the edge of the road, look and then walked out into the middle of the road, and walked in the opposite direction like he owned it...

I can make the Timney triggers on both of my 15's double up almost at will... it's a detriment if you're shooting for groups but not so bad while hunting...
-
if that's the case shooting my chunky ass would result in an explosion equal to a low yield nuke... ;-) as for the 150 gr .277 bullets you can get them pointy or round nosed, maybe for sub-sonic loads...

when I went through boot camp at P.I. a way back in 1968, our rifle instructors told us we could shoot 308 in our M-14's or any other 7.62X51 nato ammo, except for linked machinegun ammo... said the machinegun ammo was loaded to higher pressures... dunno if this means anything or not, just thought I'd throw it out there...

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all...

when I looked at that the first thing that popped into my mind was this had to be in Maryland... there used to be a store in Forest Hill, liquor in the front gunshop/sporting goods in the rear...
