The owner had found the furniture and handle on ebay with the hopes of finding someone to assemble it for him someday. I mentioned we could go that route after an upper was already ordered. If he wants to change it down the road I'll do it fir him but the owner just had a recent tragedy in his family, I'm sure this is the least if his concern.

Oh, I tried - several times I tried.  There wasn't any "listening" going on from your side, though.  None.

I moved on. Try to lead a horse to water, then try to make that horse drink - doesn't work.

Glad you're moving forward with the project, though.
