Night Vision Rentals

I am a believer in buying once and crying once.

Has anybody used UNV rentals?

Let's face it,I'm old and when I was in the suck Starlight scopes were the new kid on the block.

I've decided that a clip-on optic will work best for me and I want a AN/PVS-30 Night Vision Clip-On Sight.

I'd really suck to drop 4-8k on one and not like it,which leads to my next question.

Has anybody here ever rented optics ?

I am in no way associated with this company but wanted your thoughts on the idea.

They have the AN/PVS-30 that has been re-tubed for $4,800 with a 1 year warranty.
