Looks like all the other .308AR cam pins I have.  We can compare measurements, if you want to measure yours. I'll measure mine...

@edgecrusher is the only active member I know that owns a standard 308AR and a PWS.

POF, brother.  Not the same company.

Our guy here is asking if a POF can pin will work with his PWS rifle. Greg is the only other PWS I can think of off the top of my head, that also owns a standard rifle.

The POF roller cam was designed to replace a standard cam pin.

If Greg can compare his PWS against his Larue, then he will be able to say whether or not they are the same.

@Czgunner, those pins are about $15. You won’t be missing any meals if it doesn’t work... in fact, I want to see one up close. If you buy it, and it doesn’t fit, I’ll buy it off you.

There you have it. A risk free trial.

.949” long

.371” shaft diameter

.395” narrow head width

.490” wide head width

I'll measure these three spares, plus my Armalite AR-10 spare:

Armalite 0.9485" long.  3 spares 0.950" long.

Armalite shaft diameter 0.3685".  3 spares 0.370".

The head diameters don't matter.

I just compared my Armalite AR-10 cam pin and 3 machined, quality spares to his PWS cam pin.  That's why I asked him for measurements.

They look like twins, or quintuplets, when you look at the measurements.  I'm sure that makes sense now.

Thank you!

looks like it’ll fit.

I’ll drop one in and see how it works.

Isn't Greg's PWS a 5.56 gun?...  Does he have a .308 PWS?...

Thanks for the offer. Not sure where you found it for that price, but I paid $26.81 from Brownells with my military discount.

Yes, it’s a .308... I’ll get to this tomorrow or the next day. Have some personal stuff taking up time

Just thought I would update this.

I put the POF roller in and have about 200 rounds through the rifle without any issues. Smooths out the “feel” when charging.
