Basically, here's what the Glock 47 is: It's a Glock 17 that uses Glock 19 internals. That's it. Sounds kinda stupid, right? It's pretty smart, actually, when you look at the contract that it was developed for: DHS/CBP. The three guns they'll have will all run G19 internals, for a massive amount of cross-compatability and parts interchange. Easy to maintain that way. Check the vid, it goes into it. You stock internal parts that fit all the models, no matter which one. It's amazing that Glock will do this for DHS/CBP - come out with a new model just for this.
