Armed Eye Doc Posted April 5, 2020 Report Posted April 5, 2020 The shorter buffers are for a 7 inch buffer tube, which is a standard AR15 and DPMS-based 308AR carbine tube length (not what you have). Shorter tube=shorter buffer An H3 is about 5.4 oz, but a 5.8 oz buffer will be fine. 4.65 oz is an H2 buffer and not what is needed

Do you or anyone else have any experience with aftermarket handguards on these? Any particular one seem better than others since this is kind of an odd ball? I can only find ones at Odin Works and Midwest I think. I'm pretty certain it's a DPMS Low pattern?
