Yet another group 'therapy' session....

I looked at the tactical model but the price was much and I mean MUCH higher, and I didn't like the thought of dragging the higher sights out of a carry holster. It seems easier to buy the model I was looking at and buy a threaded barrel later. That's not to say that the tactical model isn't a gun I'd love to have, it's just i'm looking to replace the 1911 I sold as a carry pistol. The FNP is awesome for my extra-long hands, given the large capacity and grip size, it's an excellent candidate at the moment. I was really impressed by how smooth the trigger was, both in double and single-action pull.

D'oh!!!  :o

I KNOW, I KNOW  >:(  ;)

Trust me, I've kicked myself many times since then as well... but it also means I get to go on a therapeutic spending spree to salve my wounds.  ;D So the good old Rock Island 1911 I sold will probably not be missed when my FNP and Ruger SR1911 are there to comfort me.
