Runability issues are right up our alley. You break a part - you might indeed be SOL... Edited August 12, 2020 by 98Z5V
lx2008
are you saying they are no longer manufacturing parts for these Gen ii rifles or any other DPMS rifle?

Phonecall to them is the only way to know. Remington killed off the DPMS brand. Call them and ask about parts availability.
mrmackc
Some vendors have bought up a lot of the DPMS parts. However maybe you are worried for no reason, Do the recommended maintenance and shoot like you want to keep the rifle for your heirs, maybe you won't ever need a batch of spare parts. lx2008
yeah i have seen some of the vendors who have bought up the parts( maybe call them thieves) cuz the prices i saw before dpms went under these parts are now over 50% higher in price. anyhow i just wanted to know if i would ever need them. 98Z5V
Sell the gun now - gun prices right now are pretty crazy, new and used. Use the funds from it to build something else that will be around for awhile. Build your own gun, From Aero Precision M5 upper and lower pieces. It'll be around forever. Just my $0.02 on it all - get out of that DPMS G II while the market is hot for ANY gun out there... Edited August 26, 2020 by 98Z5V

Unloading it while the market is hot and then custom building a more mainstream rifle makes a lot of sense.
