I remember when it was discovered that toilet seats were costing $ 600 and how monkeys flew out of a$$es over that. I know a war machine is expensive but damn! I didn't read the bid proposal but that cost is usually for the whole system. Optics, case, spare parts, bipods, magazines,etc. Not just the rifle. That's just for the guns, men. The price on the whole system - to .gov - is $25k. That $25k is the transit case, bipod, all the goodies, etc... For real.
