redheep
Just a couple of my other rifles that my .308AR is going to join when I get home.Remington 1903A3, built in 1943, overhauled at RRA in 1967. I have the shipping box from the rebuild. I bought this while deployed, so I haven't shot her yet.And my first rifle purchase, a HRA M1, built in '55, original barrel, springfield bolt. The pictures are with my dad's and my little brother's, all bought the same day at the Camp Perry store.[img width=810 height=607]http://www.redheep.net/images/Garand/DSCF3520.jpgMy experience with the M16A2, A4 and the M4 got me interested in an AR platform, but shooting my first .30-06 made me want a little more than the 5.56 round. Jgun
Yes, very nice indeed!!!!!! I think I'm going to "need" a Garand, after my M1A is finished.
survivalshop
I think every one should have a M1 in there safe. Its strange , I have had my 1903A3 for twenty years & have not shot her yet , gotta change that next year. Now the M1 is a different story , I take her out several times a year. The M1 Garand is a great rifle !
planeflyer21
That's funny. We used chromed M1903s for drill squad in bootcamp. Finally got one earlier this year.Took it out and blasted it like mad! Fun shootin' gun!Jon
