Just a couple of my other rifles that my .308AR is going to join when I get home.

Remington 1903A3, built in 1943, overhauled at RRA in 1967. I have the shipping box from the rebuild. I bought this while deployed, so I haven't shot her yet.

And my first rifle purchase, a HRA M1, built in '55, original barrel, springfield bolt. The pictures are with my dad's and my little brother's, all bought the same day at the Camp Perry store.

My experience with the M16A2, A4 and the M4 got me interested in an AR platform, but shooting my first .30-06 made me want a little more than the 5.56 round.

I think every one should have a M1 in there safe.

Its strange , I have had my 1903A3 for twenty years & have not shot her yet , gotta change that next year. Now the M1 is a different story , I take her out several times a year.

The M1 Garand is a great rifle !
