Practice bullets

What’s your practice bullet in 308?Looking for a cheaper practice bullet to work a load up.

Speer are pretty cheap but don’t go Neer the bullseye.

Ive seen some cheap bullets called Armscor but have never tried them.

ive been using some factory seconds a bit but they are only relatively cheaper... supposedly they are Hornady eld-m rejects for some minor reason.  Others may know better possibilities

Hornady 150gr FMJ-BTs are what I use to load up range ammo in .308 Win.  Range-trash, just run it, don't worry about it, and it always does decent.  It never completely sucks, ever.  I have a thread around here somewhere about using that load to run a 13.5" barreled gun from 100 to 400 yards, with a red dot. Described my holds, and showed the impacts on target.
