Handguard length for 12.5" Barrel and gas tube help

So, with a DPMS BA 12.5 barrel, and a DPMS Low profile upper receiver, what is the suggested length for a handguard?  I will use a suppressor and will have an adjustable gas block.  I'm 99% confident that 10" is where I will need to be, but I wanted to ask if a 12" handguard would have room to attach a suppressor and get to the front of the AGB?

Also, I need to find a gas tube. The barrel is carbine length gas, I have read to buy an Armalite tube but I can't see any products on their website.  Where can I find the correct carbine gas tube?

Here is my 12.5" w/a 12.5" rail.

I removed the muzzle device so you could see where the barrel ends.

Anything 10" or more should cover the gas block.

Mine ends @ 9.5 " but this is a repurposed Sig barrel and has a custom length gas tube.

No problem. I needed to dig this out and run some rounds through it anyway.

Here's my 12.5" with a Wilson Combat 10" rail on it.  Worked perfectly, IMHO.

For your gas tube "Carbine Gas" on that barrel means AR-15 Carbine gas tube.

Armalite only does two gas tubes for .308s and all Large Frames.  One is named "Carbine" but it's a midlength (longer than AR15 Midlength) tube, and the Rifle gas tube. 

AR-15 Carbine Gas Tube will be fine on that BA Barrel.

AR-15 Carbine Gas Tube will be fine on that BA Barrel. 

Thank you!  I was confused and thought all 308 tubes were different.  I'm pretty sure I have an extra carbine tube laying around, if not they're easy to find.
