My grandfather who was in WWI said he liked the Colt 1911 because when you ran out of ammo you still had a piece of pipe with a handle. I have owned about every Glock and do not like them that much. If you like 1911s over Glocks the link below might be fun. Live through the 30 second or so and and the rest is good.

The fun part is the only Glocks I still own are mod 36's. I like them, but most of my Glock loving friends hate them. Go figure. Blocks. No grip safety. No thumb safety. Nothing but you and the "twinkle trigger" between you and bang.
