Palmetto State Armory and Aero Precision

I have been reading through threads on this site to get an education on 308 ARs.  Some of the cautionary tales and problem solving journeys have really gotten my attention.

Some threads are from a few years ago or more and I was curious if anyone knows if any manufacturers have seen any of the problem identification and resolution threads and taken the lessons learned to heart?  I was going to ask about Palmetto State Armory but a relatively recent thread seems to have answered that question:

I read a thread from a few years ago about an Aero Precision build where the gas port diameter was the main problem:

Does anyone know if this is still an issue with Aero Precision barrels?

I don't know real time. I can say 2020 psa 308 rifle from a friend,  has worked flawless for the first 200 rnds? I have a few areo products but not a full rifle built by them. Either way the fix is here and doable!

PSA certainly hasn't changed their large frame platform - they don't care.  They make money, on cheap guns and a bad design, with band-aid "fixes" to work around their problems, and just sell to the masses.   PSA is worried about the bottom line, profit, and doesn't care about much else.

Ballistic Advantage makes all the barrels for AP.  If there's a BA barrel that the gas port diameter is off, it's a very, very rare anomoly.  That doesn't happen with BA barrels, and it's a fluke or a glitch in the matrix.  I have a complete PILE of BA barrels in my guns that will attest to this statement. Trust me, there's alot of them.

Been a bit since I put together an AR308.  I believe the consensus is, in general, Aero is significantly superior to PSA in design and quality control.  Thinking about a new 10" project after the Fall hunting season.  I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the AR-Stoner offerings from Midway USA.  I don't know and haven't researched where from their barrels and component are sourced.
