bluegrey8
Bought a Blackthorn 308 upper for my DPMS but it came without front sling mounts. Someone please give me some ideas on how they mounted their front sling. The bottom of the gas block is flat so mounting to it will require removing to drill and tap. It is a 20" barrel with round plastic hand guards. Thanx !
planeflyer21
Many slings these days come with a means to attach the sling via webbing buckled around the forearm or other part of the rifle.Jon
Robocop1051
From the sounds of your description, I'm guessing you have this style handguard;I suggest two options...1. Handguard Sling Stud Mount. 2. Barrel Mounted Sling MountAnother option would be to put a short picatinny rail attachment in the same manners. Then put sling attachments on the picatinny rails... Although that seems like a lot of extra parts.
