SDDuc996
Have you guys seen this? Interesting to say the least. I'd love to do a 12" SBR with this bad boy.Any word on pricing for this upper?http://militarytimes.com/blogs/gearscout/2012/11/04/first-look-at-mega-arms-308-upper-receiver-mkm-maten/
SDDuc996
Here's the link on VLTOR's Keymod design if anybody's inetersted. It looks promising, and I like the ability to add what I need instead of being forced to use rails where I don't need them.http://militarytimes.com/blogs/gearscout/2012/07/25/vltor-gives-the-keymod-tdp-to-you/
Robocop1051
We've been discussing it for a while now...As for pricing... The parts are still being printed in 3D polymer prototypes. It wont be until they are done in aluminum will we see the beginning of a price tag.
SDDuc996
I like how it relieves stress off the barrel nut like the LaRue OBR.I'm hoping the pricing isn't too bad. (Well that and somebody not getting re-elected.)
98Z5V
I'm hoping the pricing isn't too bad. (Well that and somebody not getting re-elected.)Yeah. THat would bone EVERYTHING right in the ass, pretty bad. I hope smart people get out and VOTE tomorrow. Sheeple and followers need to do their thing, I understand, but the REAL Americans need to get off their asses, too, and make poop happen. Robocop1051
Only problem again is there are no "budget builds" with this upper. You use their handguards and their barrel nuts. The best option you may get is length. If length is the only option, I hope to see some new lengths available. Mega's last line all stopped at the gas block. Some extended lengths would be nice. Maybe even a new SUPER long rail... Maybe 20"?
unforgiven
<munch> The MKM is a good looking setup and to have the rail end just a few inches from the end is a sweet look. <thumbsup>
IowaFClass
i have not been disappointed with any Mega Arms product I've purchased. If this is the next step in the Mega Arms line, I'm in for one of each. OK they aren't budget builds but none of the builds have been cheap :cookoo:. This the worse than Harleys as a hobby. :cookoo:

unforgiven
I had my 14.5 Battle Comp pinned [only] smith said if I had to it would crack if I turned it if it had to come off [hollow roll pin].Thought I saw a link where a shop could remove a muzzle device where it was pinned & welded. http://www.adcofirearms.com/shopservices/shop_.cfm?code=25 http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_62/201048_.html Hopes this helps brother sikocycles.
