tan free float handguard

Where can i find a free floating tan handguard for dpms lr 308

I was looking at that one it only comes in 13.8 inch that will only leave me 4.6 inches of barrel. Will that be a problem only having that little bit of barrel sticking out. Also do i need to buy a new barrel nut i already have the dpms free floating tube

You'll neeed the barrel nut for that new rail.

Does it come with it or will i have to buy it from troy witht the rail. Also how about the length of barrel sticking out is that ok. I have a bull barrel. I think it would look pretty kewl but i also want it to be ok.

I think if you're hand isn't over the muzzel you are GTG.Don't think overheating is an issue.

Never be afraid to ask questions dude. That's what this forum is all about. There's a whole lotta knowlegde floating around this place. It never hurts to ask. Even if somebody's response sounds like they're annoyed. They're probably not. Voice inflections don't always come thru text that well.

Oh...and some Troy rails come with the nut, and some don't. Like Tom and Rene said, never hurts to call them.

Here's the Troy MRF-308, 13.8" rail and it's on a 18.5" Fulton Armory barrel.  You'll be fine on the rail and barrel length.  If you order the MRF-308 for the DPMS, it's supposed to come with the barrel nut. Call to make sure.

Nice yea i just have the standard dpms bull barrel i think it is 18 inches. Will be changing barrels but at a later point in time but that systrm looks good im going with fde. I am also planning on going with the magpul prs in fde as well

I just shoot for fun so prob like 400 yds or so maybe a little farther.hopefully it will be badass i also plan on putting a geiselle match trigger
