EasyEJL Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Not exactly a super super buy, but not bad. for the few minutes they'll still be in stock that is http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Rimfire-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104536080/Remingtonreg-22-LR-Rimfire-Ammunition/734676.uts?avad=48247_a3fb33e7&WT.mc_id=al35987&rid=12&WT.tsrc=AFF
imschur Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 That stuff only works in my sling shot :) Thanks for the heads up though.
planeflyer21 Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 The .22 firearms are a fickle bunch. I have some that will fire anything the others won't (except that 3 year run of Remington Golden Duds), some fire one brand, others fire another. Most will fire on a second strike. The stuff I got from my Grandfather when he died, very VERY old (I believe pre-WWII) and it all fired, no duds at all. Jon
imschur Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 My model 41 will not shoot anything Winchester. For me Federal and CCI all the way except for a little RWS here and there.
Tripledeuce Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 I once had a Hi-Standard target gun that would only shoot the cheepest Federal ammo made. Terry
EasyEJL Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 my walther p22 and ruger 10/22 (in bullpup stocks) both have fed anything so far, with an occasional failure to feed correctly. at worst maybe 1 out of 25 fails to feed. we'll see how this works out as I think I mostly shot cci blazer + the cheap federal stuff in the past
