Non-controlled Bolt Release

Hey guys, I have a new DPMS that releases the bolt without depressing the bolt catch. I first noticed it when putting it in the safe with the bolt locked open, no mag. As soon as the stock hit the floor, the bolt slammed home. I tried it a few more times with the same result. At the range, I inserted a loaded mag with the bolt locked open and the bolt would release before the mag was fully inserted. When this happens, it does not feed a round, fortunately. I have been able to replicate the problem several times. Any sugestions?

Did you build this, or buy it complete from a factory (or buy it as a built gun from someone else)?  Does it have an AR15 bolt catch in it?

This^^^. DPMS has done this several times at least recorded by members here. We have found the Armalite AR10 part to be a better alternative, and it fits into your DPMS.
