Looks like a pretty good price although it might be a bit of work with that tar seal.

new to reloading. with the tar seal issue, would it be worth the effort to de-prime the cartridge in order to rework the brass if needed? Seems like a good price for LC brass.

I have never de-primed a crimped live primer before so I don't know if the crimp would cause the primer to go bang with extra force required to remove it but its something to think about. I've de-primed a lot of non crimped live primers with no problems just have to go slow. If you try it use some safety glasses.

Load it then shoot it & clean the brass . I would remove the de-primer pin from the sizing die stem & resize the primed brass before reloading .

 

Should not be a problem de- priming the mil crimp , I do it all the time .
