Depends on the formatting. Copy and pasting if from a web page can also bring along underlying html that is site source dependent. You can hit the light switch button on the upper left of the tool bar and paste in code mode to delete all the extra crap. What I usually do is paste to a blank text document on my desktop (right click>New Text Document). A text document removes formatting. After pasting I copy again for the post.

 

Copy and pasting from Office applications can also have pasting options.

Use the link from your browser not the links youtube offers for sharing. Thats one way. You dont want any of the embeddable options youtube offers because the forum already handles the hard work
