WTB 18" Barrel

In doing more research for a barrel for my SI build, I came across Bison Armory barrels. There have been a few posts here, all favorable. Anyone want to elaborate on their Bison AR308 barrels?

Alright, update time. Everything I saw on the net (yes, it's all believable <laughs> ) said the Bison Armory barrels were GTG. That said, I'd decided to go with what was available, a 20". Low and behold, this AM they announced a sale on the barrels. Put the order in by web, so in a week or two it should be here. I asked for it to be black coated. Should be awesome looking.

Okay, got a Bison Armory 20" AR308 barrel. They were on sale  :))  so I thought I'd splurge and get the $40 black Cerekote option (after all, it is a black rifle). Pictures don't do this barrel justice. The machining on it is impeccable. The breech looks as if it was hand finished and polished. Fit with the upper and the Syrac adjustable gas block is perfect. The gas hole is 11" from the lip, so a 12" or longer free float handguard will easily cover the gas block but I'll probably go with a 15" for the longer sight radius. I am really impressed.
