One thing to remember about these…a powder's position changes with who did the chart.  While they may be similar, you still have to go through load workup and experimentation, when substituting another powder.

In addition, I prefer to use charts such as these. These charts give a better perspective of the relative burn rates of various powders. Start low and build up as always.

 

Also, I like to graph up the various powders with my chosen bullets. This helps when you don't have a chronograph. It also helps during these times when your favorite powders aren't available and you have to look at substitutes.
