Robocop1051
I had a momentary thought to jump ahead of the 6.8 train. Thought maybe it'd take off in popularity. Well it kinda did, and it still might, but not enough right now. Ammo was going to kill me too, especially since I don't reload. It's a great round. The fact that LWRC and Colt are investing so much money into it almost guarantees it's longevity. I think 2 or 3 other militaries have already adopted the cartridge. As soon as surp ammo hits the market, 6.8 rifles are going to flood the market.

Dane Armory
The EXTRA headspace is what makes it an SPCII over a SPC.

Robocop1051
Robo...does yours say spc2 on the barrel or just 11:1 twist? :) Wash The pictures above show ALL the markings available. Bushmaster states on their website that any of their barrels stamped "1/11" are the newer 6.8 SPC II chamber.
