Was just surfing through this guys blog and saw this build,  I immediately thought of Robocops pistol build.  This thing is sick.   link

I was very tempted to do a large bore caliber. The .450, .458 and the .50 projectiles would be sweet. I even contemplated a .460 Rowland and the 10mm auto.

Ron Williams is the pro when it comes to custom uppers like this. He and I have had several conversations about this.

I will someday build the wife her "purple AR" and thought about doing something weird like the 10mm being as how I already reload it.

Ron makesa true DI upper. Everyone else makes a blowback upper. Ron also uses a modified Uzi or modified Grease Gun magazine. Everyone else uses proprietary magazines.

The other plan would be a DDLES lower receiver. The one that uses Glock magazines.

Definitely give us a run down on that 10mm when you get it running, I am still thinking of going that route down the road.  Buddy started doing one of the AR-45's that run grease gun mags, kind of thinking of doing that too. But the 10mm would be so fun and unusual.
