planeflyer21 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Graphicized statistics for firearms: http://americangunfacts.com
survivalshop Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I may be off base with this ,but the math doesn't add up . It reads 31,672 incidents ,most were sell defense & then it reads lower that 200,000 women use a gun against sexual abuse , now don't those count as Incidents ? Or are they considered a different category.
shibiwan Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) Read it carefully. Each gun icon represents 31,672 incidents. There are 80.5 gun icons representing 80.5 x 31,672 self defense incidents and 1 gun icon representing other gun incidents. That's 2,549,596 self defense incidents vs 31,672 "other" incidents. If 200,000 women used guns to defend against sexual abuse/assault, it's a legit number. :D Yes, you can trust me on that math -- I'm asian. <laughs> Edited September 4, 2014 by shibiwan
