mbjku
Just got my Lar-8 and here is questions, sorry: - Please suggest better quality stock, mine looks cheapo and might not hold recoil well. - I need to buy 15 or less rounds mags (NJ :( ) do you know anybody selling them besides RRA/10? - Any handrail besides RRA made and will cost less then my old kifney you might suggest? - Any issues shooting still ammo (Brown Bear, Wolf etc) besides it is dirty? Thanks! Here is my rifle so far, ready to shot but as you see it needs tons of improvements: Edited October 8, 2014 by mbjku
planeflyer21
Welcome to the club! I really am fond of the Rock River Elite Operator stock (and the Operator stock, if you want a fixed option). Depends on what your preferences are and how you will be modding your smokepole. planeflyer21
The fixed Operator is a nice stock. You'll need a spacer, in order to mount it on that carbine length tube and a longer vented screw.

planeflyer21
I'm not certain but possibly. It is adjustable though, if that is an issue in your area.

planeflyer21
Be glad you didn't purchase a DPMS-pattern rifle, that EVERYONE is making aftermarket parts for and selling.

I own quiet number of rifles and pistols, besides maybe Beretta nobody is charging as much for small mags, what is going on? LAR8Autoshucker
Mine came with a little card saying not to run magtec ammo but I already had 1000 rounds of it the basement so I gave it a try. I had feed issues with every brand of ammo I ran so I sent it for warranty work and it now eats everything I try to feed it. I also bought a cheap mid length quad rail and took a grinder to the backside (towards shooter) until it fit. I have since spend the cash on an rra free floatrail system and low pro gas block. Save your pennies and buy rra first. Well worth it, mine shoots sub moa at 100yrd with 20 dollar american eagle m1a ammo. Pics on another thread to prove it.
